time to move to houston

Yeah Texas economy is laughing at everyone else. Houston housing market is actually growing right now.

Downtown H is kinda cool in that there is no zoning so everyone is building or remodeling the housing right next to the quaint cafes or coffeshops. Kinda urban sheek.

We paid 131K for our 4 bedroom 2 bath built in 2006.

It makes no sense to pay 170% more housing cost so you can get paid 28% more at your job.

Besides, I like being able to wear a t-shirt during Christmas. Take it from someone who spends about two months a year in Minneapolis: Fuck that ice town, might as well live in Norway, at least the chicks there are hot.
 
Regardless of how shitty or dirty some of you say Houston is, that is still a sweet deal. You won't find a deal like that anywhere in Canada. Then again our housing market is still going strong.

It cost more in other places because it's where people actually want to live. Not some humid fucking swamp surrounded by rednecks.

Now if we went by county rather than state we'd sweep the floor with both TX and MN.
