I'm a noob, and want to try my hand at PPC. I'm joining PPC coach next month when I get my piss-ant little pay cheque, but in the meantime I thought I'd try to sign up to the good networks.

I want to join ( or I think I want to join )

Ads4Dough
Convert2media
Neverblue
Copeac
etc.

a) Anyone got any tips about how NOT to get declined? I don't really have any high traffic sites, yet, just a PR3 with 20 visits a day.
My tactic will be minisites with tried-tested sales page methods, and primarily PPC, with a bit of SEO thrown in to help the mix.

b) Do referral links from existing members give an advantage?

c) If I get declined, can I beg & plead, or is it all over at that point?

Cheers,

PS, I'm noob, but not dickroll fodder, I've already had my 'baptism of bumming'. ;)

The idea is experience. If you have it, they want to work with you. If you don't, they don't. Just get one to start. Learn a few things, get the experience, and then add another if you need it. rinse and repeat.

^ Actually being inexperienced isn't going to get you the cold shoulder from all networks. Copeac welcomed my newbie ass with open arms.

You want to get accepted? Pick up the phone and call them

Thats so obvious, but I never thought of that. Putting myself in their shoes, if someone had the enthusiasm to call me and ask to join my affiliate network, I'd probably approve them on the spot. I'll try it.

Hey pickeldegg check out this thread. Applying To CPA Networks FAQ.

Thanks kimboslice, but I have a feeling it'll end up being something repetitive that I've seen before. Its like a public fart though, no matter how many times you do one, it still brings a smile to your face.
