Does anyone know of a top 10 list (unbiased) of the best investment firms in Canada? I want to start investing but don't know much about it....

do not waste your time or money with an investment firm; put your money in an index fund @ $10 flat commission thru an online broker & forget about it.

That's why I want to get a firm to manage it for me... something low-risk, well diversified.

If that's the case then just put your money into mutual funds or etfs. Here's a good place to start for some research: Mutual Fund Screener - Bloomberg . Just put in your criteria and then take a look at the results.

You don't need an investment firm unless you are investing something like a million dollars or more.
