traffic requirement for commission junction

hi friends, i want to know whether there is any traffic requirement to be for joining cj or any traffic requirement to be maintained to remain as cj affiliate.

i hear that if you have no activity within a certain amount of time then they suspend ur account.

not sure if there is any traffic requirement to join.

there is no traffic requirement. joining CJ is easy. but your site has to be approved for each of their thousands of publishers individually.

Some publishers (the financial sector, in particular) are really picky about choosing only the top affiliates who have a proven track record of bringing in the big bucks.

And like mason said, your account will be closed in about 6 months time from the point of opening if its inactive (meaning no sales).

Yep. Having some sort of track record helps getting approved by some merchants. If you have a domain that is remotely related, most will accept you.

And ditto - once you're in, all you have to do to key your account active is make one conversion every six months. That shouldn't be too hard.

CJ doesn't require any traffic requirements from what i remember.
