Trump - This Country Is Going to Hell

Race card? You sir are almost as bad as Hellblazer. :rainfro:

ALL political Strategists, certainly republicans maybe even moreso, would have advised O not to stoop down to the level of drooling conspiracy retards and I am sure that is exactly the advice that got acted on back in 2008 until today.

Imagine if JFK had felt the need to prove the moon landing wasn't faked and released further proof that it was real just to shut up some retarded kooks back in the day. He'd look worse from the association, no doubt.

Obama looks a little worse today for the association, but not at all when you put things in perspective! Today it's a totally different country with a freaking 25% of the nation listening to conspiracy fruitcake propoganda from the likes of Glenn Beck and Rush Limbaugh on Fox news.

Basically, any president today has to address these drooling zombies or their immense rumor mill will keep building the rumors like this birther crap.

O had to do it sooner or later; I don't blame him one bit.

Trump certainly looks worse today though to anyone with 1/2 an IQ point. He has just:

1. Associated with the lowest-IQ'd americans very publically
2. Proudly taken credit for something that smart people all feel is slimey and dishonest.
3. Spent money and resources on the failed investment of using a detective team to snoop around in Honolulu for the birth certificate... All to come up empty handed. What a failure.

If it wasn't obvious, I formally take back any good words I said about trump before. Yeah, it'd be interesting to see his style of presidency in a movie, but I wouldn't want my country to lose that much respect in the eyes of the rest of humanity.

Trump may look worse to the fringe left, that already thought he looked bad. But there are some of us that never even took stock in the birth certificate controversy to begin with. However we did think that the president should release the long form when it first came up and be done with it. But he never did. Why? Because he knew not releasing it would stir up the idiot racists, and conspiracy theorists. So he was using it as a political pawn. Even his press secretary admitted to it today by saying he could have "continued" to use it for political gain. "Continued" - meaning he was already presently using it for political gain.

And then we are to believe that it's just a "coincidence" that he releases it immediately after polls show that it's now having a negative effect on him? And we're to believe that he wants to do it to silence all of the silly news stories? Yeah right. He's the President of the United States. He could of shown that birth certificate at any point in time before now, but he happened to hold on to it until the polls showed that it wasn't good for him to do so.

Not to mention the fact that this story that was "drowning out current events" is now bigger because of the release. And is conveniently drowning out the fact that Gold and Silver are rising at a scary rate. And the fact that because we've decided to pull out of Afghanistan so quickly, the Taliban has infiltrated the Soldiers that we're training there, as evidenced by the killing of 8 of our Soldiers today by someone they were training. Which pretty much means we're at square one over there.

The President is a brilliant politician that's for sure. But his political moves are becoming way too obvious anymore. He's like a sleeveless magician that uses glass props. And the only halfwits that would vote for him in the next election, are those that are already begging for handouts anyway. Of course by then, that may be all of us. FUUUCCK!

Actually, him finally releasing his birth-certificate is a huge victory for Trump, and all Republicans for that matter.

Obama releases long-form birth certificate - Political Hotsheet - CBS News

It's good news for actual Republicans, with this low hanging fruit gone maybe topics of substance will start to weed out the candidates from the reality TV stars like Palin and Trump. It's not good news for fringe lunatic birther retards, they'll have a harder time getting coverage for spewing their idiocy.

Because it shows that he was using it this whole time as a political pawn. He could have easily released it at any time, but chose to hold it back. It was his way of playing the race card, without exposing his hand.

Exposing your critics as racists is not the same as playing the race card.

Regardless, all politicians are scum.

Actually that's not the full extent of what was happening. Truth be told, the media and those on the left talked about the birth-certificate and birthers way more than those on the right did. And they used it to inaccurately call everyone that wanted to see the birth-certificate a racist. Most of those that wanted to see his birth-certificate could care less about his race. After all, his mom was white. It was a Nationalism thing, and the fact that most of his Dad's family was still living in Africa.

I love how people with zero government experience can run for president cause they have monies. The government is not a business and should not be run like one.

However, someone who is as experienced with bankruptcy as Trump might be a good choice when we tell everyone to screw off instead of paying the national debt.

LOL...

To those that think the government should not be run as a business:

Just hold that shit in reserve for when we have enough money to go around, ok?

While we are in the red, we should be run by successful businessmen. While we are in the Black, then, and only then, should we be run by philanthropists and other well-meaning people.

But having a well-meaning person like Obama being in charge when we are $14T in the hole is just bad planning.

It has been/is being run like a business, a business to enrich the few at the cost of the many. Putting people in there that worship the dollar over everything else (like Trump) will only make things worse.

I lol'd. nice, I like it.

Are you serious w/ that? lol - No wonder we're in so much trouble.

lol, actually yeah, I am serious with that. Mitt Romney would have made a terrible president.

Having a capitalist society and not letting capitalist rules/natural selection happen, i.e. bank bailouts, will devastate the system. If we would have let the banks/wall street fail on that one, we could have recovered in a few years. Now we're going to let the recovery limp along for 15 years.

Wait, so you vote for people based on whether they are going to make the country money? I doubt it. We consume 20 times what we produce, and until that changes, it won't matter who is in office. I agree with a lot of what Ron Paul discusses on the economy, but he'll never be elected. We're always going to vote for the charismatic person who shows up on Opera.

I agree that a businessman will help with the deficit, but what about education (or insert 100 other topics here)? Is he going to look at the education system and see how we can make more money with it? Government has it's role, and it's not to make more monies off Americans.

I think it's safe to say Ron Paul and Don Trump would have told the banks where they can shove their held-out hats.

Normally throughout American history you'd have a point... But look at the price of gold, and how the IMF said this week that China WILL be #1 within 5 years... America is finally going to be united on one issue in 2012: The Economy; everything else will be minor in comparison at the polls.

We're always going to vote for the charismatic person who shows up on Opera.
Hopefully you meant Oprah... Peeps going to the Opera aren't really your average voter. :p

Anyway, as shown elsewhere on this forum in many other threads, the charisma isn't whats truly getting these guys elected. Nor are your votes.

Votes just choose between dude A and B. -You have no say whatsoever who dudes A and B are. And as Obama has clearly demonstrated with Libya, dude A can act just like dude B anyway, so it doesn't matter one iota.

Right now I'd vote for Paul or perhaps Gary Johnson... But both of them want to legalize pot and take other Anti-Corporate action so you can count on them both being sabotaged completely by our corporate overlords long before the primaries.

Whatever Obama "produced" is not his birth certificate. No idea why he's playing this game, potentially to distract people from the fact that he's destroying this country. Or maybe he really doesn't have one.

And trump is at least as qualified as Obama was 4 years ago I figure making billions in decades of business is more qualified than 2 years as a senator most of which was spent campaigning for president.

Quoted (and bumped) for truth.

However, someone who is as experienced with bankruptcy as Trump might be a good choice when we tell everyone to screw off instead of paying the national debt.

You are clueless. There are these little insignificant things called derivatives and Credit Default Swaps that you may have heard about when Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy which crippled many of the major financial institutions in the World. Now if the US Government even gets close to defaulting on any of our debts it will trigger a global event that would make everyone forget the events of the financial crisis of the last 2.5 years.
