TSA coming to an interstate Near you!

I can see Hitler giving the U.S. double thumbs up in his grave right now.

Not surprising considering grandaddy bush made the first pile of family cash from investing in the nazi war machine.

And considering nazis founded the chicago school of economics.

And considering nazis founded the cia.

And considering the fortune 500 is littered with the debris of companies who helped build the third reich.

I still can't believe how many people spout out about America and freedom.

One word.

Idiots.

Travel around the world, live in other countries for a extended amounts of time. Experience what it's like to never be afraid of cops/government.

We spend billlions of dollars fighting for "freedom" while 46 million right in America are living in poverty. The only people who have taken our freedom are the police/government. Saddam, bin laden, gaddafi etc... haven't done a damn thing to restrict the freedom of Americans, but they sure are a great excuse for the tools in charge to go hitler on all the sheeple.

Hell even in China they don't do this shit in schools, proms and on the highway. Much of China is quite lawless and unorganized, and traffic chaotic and random. In the states, you can't stop too close to the damn stop sign without getting fuckin ticket. At least most Americans bother to stop at all, more than can be said for many other countries.

The tsa is completely worthless. They stopped reporting the results of their tests years ago because they do such a shitty job of actually stopping the flow of illegal/dangerous substances and weapons.

Have to call bullshit.

Which third world countries are we talking? The ones where foreigners are second class citizens to cops/government? Where giving and taking bribes are the norm? Where there is absolutely no oversight or where rule of law is trumped by personality?

Fuck man, just compare the meaning of poverty in the US to poverty in Africa before talking about 46 million poor in the United States.

I assume you are referring to..... where?

Certainly first world countries - right?

I think a comparative study of quality of life for the poor in the US compared to other countries would be interesting. Seems like the poor in the US do not have it too bad. They have food stamps, section 8 free shelter, health care, free education, free college.... all kinds of good stuff.

The TSA has caught zero terrorists in the 10 years since it was started.
the TSA and homeland security were just a reason to create worthless jobs and spend taxpayer money. even if we had more terrist attacks, they still wouldn't be worth the money spent on them.

Hardly. I say the US govt knew full well there would be (and will be more) widespread dissent about the wars (especially if a ground war with Iran happens, and the draft is reinstated), plus probably more importantly, the economy was going to goto shit. The FBI warned about mortgage fraud and the housing bubble 7 years before it happened, so I would imagine others (ie. bank CEOs) knew well before then.

If something like this gong show of a protest called 99% actually turned real, and into widespread & organized civil disobedience, the US govt is well prepared. They're protecting themselves and their rich buddies, not you. That's what the whole "Occupy Wall St" thing is about, except they fucked it all up, and made a total laughing stock out of themselves.

Prevention =/= cure.

being poor in us is pretty sucky. very difficult to get out of because theres very litte assistance.

many parts if you dont have a car, your going nowhere. sucks if youre too poor to buy a car.

well at least you can join the military

Very little assistance? You mean the Free food, free rent, free health care, and even free mass transit coupons are not enough? Oh yeah, the free welfare check for other needed items, the heavily discounted utilities.... I mean what else do they want?

I know a guy that owns 5 3000 sq ft + homes built in 2005 that he rents to Section 8 families that have 100% section supplement, as in their rent is free. Rough life in the US. Free rent in a 3000 sq ft home with brand new everything all the way down to the granite counter tops and hardwood floors. You get that in your country? They also get free schooling, free food, free health care, and severely discounted utilities including internet.

As for a car... who cannot afford a 2000 Camry for $3K - reliable, good gas mileage, and oh yeah - public assistance practically free car insurance. You people that hear how bad it is in the US - are you sure you know what you are talking about? There are charities that will sell this car to people for $50/month.

Mass transit can get you anywhere here. From rural to a train station right into any city. Mass transit is fine if you want to use it and can stomach it.

I know. And those Cambodian rice farmers keep bitching about how hard they have it, and how hard it is to advance their income. They should try living in the US!

Tiger was obviously trolling there. Can't believe you guys didn't see through that...

I will say this about the poor in the US: For every assistance that is granted them to keep living that lifestyle, there seems to be a reason to keep them where they are and not advance upwards, ever.

The way our system is it really surprises me that people like myself are able to slip through the cracks and advance at all... The overall trend is obviously a growing dependent (poor) class and it's now in the process of rapidly consuming the entire middle class.
