Anyone else hooked on the UFC stuff? I remember when it first started way back when, I purchased the first 10-12 pay pre views then decided I needed to save my money! I started watching again once the reality show came on Spike TV, good stuff. The finale is on tonight for those who watch, the the Fight Night comes on next week.

I can't wait to see the next pay per view results, see if Shamrock gets his block clocked :)
 


Yeah, its one of my guilty pleasures. I got hooked on season one of the ultimate fighter, and the finale between griffin and bonnar was amazing. Looking forward to the season 3 finale tonight :)
 
Ultimate Fighting Championship. Its a mixed martial arts fighting "league" I guess is the best way to describe it.

No way dude, UFC is REAL fighting, not entertainment/fake fighting (wrestling) :)

Dont think they show that over here, cuz i havent heard of it. I love to watch K1 tho. Peter Aerts the dutch lumberjack...

aah that stuff, yeah thats cool I've seen a movie about that sport.
 
I had never really been into it prior to the reality show they started 2 years ago, but that kinda hooked me. And part of me hates myself for it :p
 
I caught a couple K1 matches on Comcast I think, not too bad. I prefer UFC for some reason though.

The thing I like about it, it is quite stomach turning sometimes when these guys maul each other, but the respect they show each other after the matches is unrivaled. Sure, sometimes it's a hate battle but all in all its all in sport to them, very interesting from a psyche point of view.
 
I met a girl last night at a party who said she dated a guy who went to the championships for it, dont remember the name but that is some intense stuff..

In that case I would suggest stearing clear of her. You wouldn't want to be on a date, and have some ufc guy come in and want to win her back. It's just not a good situation, one which I would strongly suggest actively avoiding.

I don't normally watch it but when it's on it's kind of addicting, hard to change the channel

Yeah - It is one of those things that guys are drawn to....ooooo blood,, ooo punching.....must watch...can't...change...channel... :D
