Uni question

cardine: I got the 35k figure from crackp0t.
120 k / year job out of college? What degrees? That sounds good.

I'd rather do a decent psych degree. I did some business modules with my computing degree many years ago, and they just appeared to be common sense.

I guess some employers might like a business degree, but I've never had a job so I wouldn't know.

Got my business degree from UCLA and minored in Psych because at the time it seemed like the way to go was corporate. Since then I opened multiple successful businesses and realized college wasn’t need to make $$$$$$.

College isn't necessarily going to make you more money but it builds a stronger character & mind. At the end of the day, finish college now and then you'll have a backup plan if your businesses aren’t successful.

I advise you to get Business degree then do what ever you want. Of course to earn $$$ degree is not required.

cardine: Hah... Compsci is great for money yep. But I just can't do it. Too geeky for me.(

Thanks for everybody so far. The main question is: Should I go travel like a nomad for 1-2 years THEN do college or do college, get the degree, then go for a big trip while forgetting what I learned and maybe losing the connections I got in college - or if not losing but those connections can become lighter.

Best way to make good money with a Psychology degree is to become an Account Planner for an advertising agency. They are very well paid. It's not an easy job to get though, some of the Planners I've worked with are the cleverest people I've ever come across.
