I just took a one-page crappy arbi site and updated it to actually make it look nice. Beforehand it had a PR of 3, not it has a PR of 0... WTF? Do you find that you update your sites and they get screwed in the BoondockTaint?

I think it was shoemoney that mentioned that google is implementing new algo's to catch the arbi sites.

Don't remember exactly what they were doing but it may be worth the read (go look at his blog).

I had a domain that I used mainly for email, but I had stuck a one page thing there with about 50 words on it, somehow it achieved a PR of 2. I decided to use it and within a couple of days (Apr update was going on) my PR had gone to zero.

Still havent worked that one out.

I also think it has to do with (an algo) change. Basicly, if you don't make big changes to your pages PR shouldn't change easy... :)

That was for adwords traffic buyers who use the oldest form of arbitrage, by buying traffic on google to fwd it to some 90th tier search engine.
