US Govt. Shutdown. Does anyone care?

All national parks are closed... but the park police are still on duty.

The cost of keeping parks open after the park police have already been paid has to be very small if anything at all.

Is that a real sign? (I lack the graphics knowledge and skill to take a guess.) Where did they get the money to make the signs? And did they make those signs before they lacked funding? So they're wasting money buying signs they might not need?

Dumb shit, I say.

We can't even work together on this shit but we agree to strike Syria, good lord.

When it comes to wars and invading another guy, we are good to go, green light, launch bitches, launch.

^ Watch the government mafia take random people hostage. A real shakedown. Not a day without money could these altruistic people do. The second there was no money was the second they were gone.

Do people really believe that government works for anyone but themselves?

This is the government class in action.

Holy crap! Never heard of that before. And yes I do freaking care, for some reason this news is driving down gold prices...

Chase Bank controls gold prices, not anything in the news.

Also: 800,000 non-essential government employees? If they're non-essential how can even the most hard core statist justify their existence? "They're not essential, but we would like to keep taking your tax money to pay for their salaries because..."

Admittedly I don't know the amount of unemployed in the US (11.3m from what I can tell) but wouldn't adding 800,000 to the unemployed list cause some problems to your economy anyway? Everything from consumer confidence to mortgage defaults (house pricing) to all of the private sector jobs that service that employment force - catering, local cafes, office supplies for some obvious examples.

Cull the dead wood where it's justified but mass sackings doesn't sound wise.

Only because taxes would in all likelihood remain the same (if not increase).

Do they know how utterly stupid we look on the world stage right now? Stay classy America.

I don't know. If I were a citizen of another nation, especially in a target rich country, I would look at this with glee. It's when the United States is operating at full effect that we look like idiots.

Jews.

30,000 rounds of ammo, gillie suits, masks, gen 3 and thermal vision, the most badass rifles ever created, many other things I can't list..... ......ya fucks shoulda invested some of that bst monies in this shit when it was cheap. Y u no listen to the Mayans? I can't WAIT for it to pop off.... ....but I'm just some crazy fucking lunatic nazi so. I so can't wait...

...but their version of a shutdown isn't just the government going out of service (ie, cops, etc.). It's gonna be much more sinister when it happens why do you think they've been building those concentration camps, sorry.... FEMA camps.

Wait WUT?

Bullet 9 stated "defending our borders", when the FUCK was this ever done?

Well they ask me, a non-violent white male with no criminal record loads of rambling questions and take my fingerprints when I enter the US. Plus they touch me in special ways.

Your borders are safe.

This anarchy debate is so tiresome. Yes, anarchy sounds great if you live in a rural community in Western Canada. No, anarchy does not sound great if you live near Detroit.

The reason governments evolved at all, and the reason they have evolved differently is because people are different culturally.

It's just the same brainwashed retards saying the same shit in every thread. They don't realize how boring it is by now.

tell the people who will be going without pay/sent home because the assholes on Capitol Hill can't get their shit together...

Half those people shouldn't have those jobs in the first place. Unnecessary, unproductive bureaucratic paper-shufflers. And save the absolute hysterics about the U.S. not paying its' bills - they have more than enough money to pay the interest on the debt. After that, well, perhaps they should have budgeted better.

This shit is all for show. Shut down the stuff people use and want, while doubling down non the things they don't. The .gov is not shut down. This is not about not having any funding. Don't buy into any of this bullshit. And don't think for a second the .gov is shut down.
