US Orders News Blackout Over Crippled Nebraska Nuclear Plant | Myweathertech.com

"A shocking report prepared by Russia’s Federal Atomic Energy Agency (FAAE) on information provided to them by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) states that the Obama regime has ordered a “total and complete” news blackout relating to any information regarding the near catastrophic meltdown of the Fort Calhoun Nuclear Power Plant [photo top left] located in Nebraska."

Thoughts? Total BS or true?

Is Obama that delusional to think he can just keep this quite? Did he not know that the internet exists and this shit is going to take a couple of days or weeks and will go completely viral and blow up right in his face for censoring the news? This guys going to be a 1 term disaster and will have messed up our country for decades

Could mean anything, I wouldn't be concerned.
Could mean nothing but when they tell you to stay away from the water supply its usually a good reason to pause for concern

don't worry, they have it all under control.
they are following the japanese handbook on explaining away nuke accidents.

Should be interesting. I live a couple hundred miles away, but I know a lot of people in Lincoln and Omaha so I guess I should start watching it closer.

I have family there as well. Hopefully its nothing serious.

Cue the mass bird deaths.

"Though the plants have declared “unusual events,” the lowest level in the emergency taxonomy used by federal nuclear regulators, both were designed to withstand this level of flooding, and neither is viewed as being at risk for a disaster, said a spokesman for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission."

Nothing to see here.

"One plant, the Fort Calhoun Station, about 19 miles north of Omaha, was shut down in April for refueling, and the operators elected to keep it in “cold shutdown” in anticipation of the flooding. The other plant, Cooper Nuclear Station, located downriver and situated on higher ground, is still operating."

One of the plants was already shut down.

I love how these threads always start off with "nothing to see here, nuclear power is super safe" and then like 3 months later it turns out the government was lying all along and shit's been fucked for awhile.

Looks like you missed the article above.

I've talked to a guy working there who says they've been planning for this since the plant was built 30 +/- years ago..............He must be a government disinformationalist!

Don't all nuclear power stations have no-fly zones over them, 100% of the time.

I'm sure that in the UK they do.

I live in Lincoln

We have all mutated into ninja turtles

Really though the area around there has been evacuated from what I hear
