USA vs Algeria

I certainly agree with the need for more control on cheating, it really does need something doing. The trouble is how to officiate better without disrupting the flow of a match. It's not as though a scoring position can be recreated and FIFA's argument that there should be consistent officiating from the grassroots to the World Cup Final is pretty weak.

Anyway, nice one US. I'm actually kind of glad we (England) didn't top the group as we're now likely to face our old enemies (Germans and Argies). If we get through them we'll have earned it, it's time for us to step up.

so far so good...south korea and the US are both in the top 16.

my bloodline and my country.

it's all gravy from here on out

My second team is either Spain or the USA so I will be looking forward to that on Saturday night. For England, I think we can beat Germany, but Argentina is gonna be a bitch of a game buddy.

It'll be tough, but the Argies defense is very suspect and has come under no scrutiny so far. I'd back us to score against them and after seeing Greece for the first hour yesterday, I think they can be contained.

And that my American friends is a small taste of why football is so fucking good. 90 minutes of annoyance frustration and anger all released with seconds to go. It's like a fucking orgasm and the rollercoaster ride is why football is an emotional kick in the balls some days and like mainlining heroin others. :D

USA! USA!
