Tour FTW!!

Especially if you have/run an exchange server, throw BES on a box, sync it to your blackberry, and it will automatically reconcile mail, contacts, calendar, memos, tasks, etc all to your outlook, its pretty much like a consistent backup in case you lose it - can't tell you how many times this has come in handy - although now I have to be more careful since asurion only allows you 2 claims a year AND they raised the deductible to $100 (what kinda BS is that?) .

Plus the fact that you can up to 14+ 3rd party emails (pop/imap/owa/etc).

I used to be pissed off at the fact that all my friends had these cool apps on their iPhone, but the developer community on Blackberry seems to be coming around, and they seem to have a decent amount of apps out, some good/some bad.

international rates can be a pain in the ass w. VZW, but for the most part not bad.

I love my blackberry and would never switch.

I've got the Droid and can't complain. I just found out about PDANet free tethering, so I will have 3G internet anywhere on my laptop. It's pretty fucking awesome, granted it's my first smart phone, but still. I guess my only complaint would be the battery, it lasts about a day, I generally charge it overnight. If I forget, it can be a problem, but it usually lasts for me.

i had a bb for a couple years. pile of shit compared to the iphone (one word: gps). if you are only debating between droid/bb, def go droid.

So are you trying to say the BB doesn't have a GPS? Go back to the worlds shittiest network. Go with the droid if you want to see what it feels like to carry a dildo around in your pocket. The thing is so fucking bulky.

the new ones might im not sure. im w tmobile on iphone works fine.

BTW, what's up Mike? I didn't realize that was you! :338:

I was talking about AT&T network. I didn't know the iphone was available for T-Mobile. Everybody has an Iphone here and rips on me for having a Blackberry.

EDIT: Although, T-mobile at least around here has poor coverage. I knew somebody who had them and they were getting dropped calls all the time. I wonder if they upgraded their network.

That is all, motherfuckers.

Just ditched my storm 9530 3 days ago and got a droid. It is the best phone I have ever owned.

Idk if its all the tours but I have noticed that they tend to have microphone problems. like the person would sound like their distant and shit.

I got a HTC Hero and gotta say that it is totally fuckin awesome. The contact system and the pure flawless integration with Google Apps (which I use for my business) is something which is like a dream solution for me. Oh and it integrates perfectly with my Macbook Pro.

The biggest problem which I had with BB was that I could not travel internationally (where I use the local sim-cards) and still use BB's email. With my Android, I can go to Sweden -- buy a local Telia or Tele2 sim card with an unlimited 3G data for something like 100 SEK... International Roaming Data costs me 400 SEK for 5 MB... So it didn't make economical sense to me to buy BB.

As for battery life, I am pushing 2 days on HTC Hero with moderate usage. In any case, it is easy to get a second battery and carry that around. Oh and it charges from your laptop too....

Unless you plan on jailbreaking, check out the PDANet free app. It will let you tether your phone to your laptop for free. The only thing is to access https sites you have to pay $30 for the "full" app, but it's worth it IMO. Plus it won't void your warranty for jailbreaking.

Change it for Nokia N97. This is best advice you will ever get.

Nah, if you are considering s60 phones, go for the Samsung Omnia HD. Fucking amazing phone and great community of developers bringing out custom ROMs. I'm not the biggest fan of the OS and battery life isn't amazing but glad I went for that over the iphone & Hero.
