Droid and Iphone are cool if you are just trying to be cool. I can't live without my blackberry keyboard. If you are using your phone for business then I would go with blackberry.

I have the Tour. Its ok, wish it did a few more things, but its def handy.

Apps:
Weather Bug > Weather Channel App
Pandora
Google Maps
Poynt
Score Mobile - Sports Scores - any and every sport
Quick Pull (Simulates a Battery Pull reboot)
Buzz Me (more options for LED / Vibrate while ringing)
DriveSafe.ly - Reads your emails and texts to you
Google Mail plugin

Games:
Ka Glom!
Battleship
Sid Mier's Civ IV

BB is good for serious business users, especially if it's hooked up to a BES server. Email is pretty solid. My blackberry doesn't do the weird shit my iphone does occasionally, but it does throw the occasional java exception. If you are used to the the apps available for android phones, or the itunes app store, then a blackberry will be a fucking dinosaur.

I use a blackberry 8700 series (I do acknowledge this is old as shit, but the wheel is key for brickbreaker) and an iphone, and was a former windows mobile user. I also take it up the ass from AT&T's shit service. The only alternative for me is the meager selection of verizon world phones, so I'm going to continue to take it up the ass and pay a single phone bill for the time being.

The only area where there's no gray area for me is when I say I'm not going back to windows mobile.

Something else that I haven't seen mentioned here is Blackberry's build-in Encryption System...

I have owned probably 30 damn phones in the last 5 years, and out of all of them (Even all of the HTC's and whatnot), the Blackberry was the only phone I ever felt 'secure' with.

The fact that you can set a full length password on it is awesome.
The fact that you can set it to auto-lock is awesome.
The fact that you can encrypt all of the contents of the phone is awesome.
The fact that you can encrypt the MicroSD card -to- the phone is awesome.
The fact that after 10 incorrect password attempts, the phone will wipe itself, is awesome.

I've lost a few phones... Some of them had shit that I do NOT want other people to have. Pictures of chicks, pictures of ex's, pictures of me WITH chicks (yeah, those kind), contacts, notes, messages, emails...

It is the worst feeling wondering when you're gonna stumble across a picture on 4Chan that came from your lost phone! haha

So for me, fuck all the fancy shit, fuck the touch screen and badass browser, fuck all the games and apps... The Blackberry is EASY to use, and SECURE.

Still my #1 choice for a phone.

you must take some fucked up pictures

I do take some fucked up pictures, but I'm sure I'm not the only one here... I also get a good amount of pictures sent to me that I'd like to keep to myself!

And why do you say the keyboard is trash?? I fucking LOVE the BB keyboard... I will only own a QWERTY keyboard phone, and out of all I have tried, I love the BB the most...

Also the easiest QWERTY keyboard to txt/type on one handed (driving, or other 'stuff')... But seriously, I love it.

To each his own though.
