Video Tutotrial Software

[skrilla]

Im looking for software to create online video tutorials. What do you all recommend?

[Xdreamer]

Camtasia which is free (version 4 I believe) or Jing which comes also free but you're limited to 5min videos only (unless you switch to the paid version). Camtasia comes in v6 in the paid version.

Camtasia Studio is amazing, it isn't free though. It has a 30 day free trial without any feature limits.

I don't think you'll need anything else if you decide to go with camtasia.

[WhatupG]

Camtasia is da shit.

Check out eLearning content authoring software, screen capture software and beyond | Adobe Captivate 4

There are demo videos towards the bottom of the page.

[ebizstrategies]

there is a free program called camstudio and the a pro(cost) version like $29.95 if money is an issue. However, either version does not offer the features like camtasia

For Mac users:

Camtasia is currently only for Windows, although they're working on a Mac version:
Camtasia for the Mac Update... (Visual Lounge)
"We're looking at a mid-2009 release."

I currently use iShowU together with OmniDazzle for highlighting.
