Virus??

I have fixed the exploit, but if anyones AV gets triggered again on WF, PM me ASAP.

Yo, is anyone else svchost.exe trying to contact someone at comcast? I can't tell if it's my firewall just asking for new rules and this is normal, or if my svchost is somehow infected despite never being modified

Not sure..I've never used the paid AVG version. I have to say, when someone first told me about Microsoft Security Essentials being really good, I laughed. After using it for a while now, I'm sold (well, not really because it's free). It is damn good though. Not sure if I'd give up a paid AV solution, but if you want free...it is the best.

See my post about the rootkit remover atleast for that. I suggest you use ESET Nod32. It will find it

Anyway, anti-virus is cheap as shit for what it's worth. $40 for an entire year? FUUUU internet for killing capitalism. If it wasn't for internet privacy, the prices for this would be like ~$100+/year

Please reply if this is happening to you

My svchost.exe is trying to contact chlm-cns02.chelmsfdrds2.ma.boston.comcast.net
