For the past few weeks I have been creating lots of Wordpress based websites, on a shared hosting account I've had through Hostgator for a while now. The sites are small and don't use up a ton of bandwith or anything, maybe 20 daily visitors per site. However, I am starting to pump these sites out quickly and I may have 100+ within the next month or so.
Right now I am using Hostgator's basic shared plan with individual WP installs for each site. I don't know much about WP MU and I have never used it. Since my goal now is to have 100s of these sites, I think WP MU would be a much better way to go than to keep using separate WP installs, correct?
With my basic Hostgator plan I don't really even come close to the limits of the account space or bandwith-wise. Just thinking into the future, I'm sure I'd outgrow this hosting plan if I continue to pump out sites at the rate I have been lately. Is a reseller account or VPS something I should be considering at this point or should I just wait until I need it?
