Walking on Water: looks like Jesus may have some competition

I am still completely stunned that anybody here would possibly think that there is a chance that could be for real. I am shocked.

How can anyone frequent this forum, be in this line of sophisticated work and be taken so easily?

However, if you polled a group of females about this it would be:

- 10% Definitely fake
- 60% Of course it's real, they filmed it. And they are professionals.
- 30% Maybe some kind of computer special effect

I am still completely stunned that you made this post:

Just for hypothetical discussion:

On your WF user profile, would you put in some links to your sites - if there was a way to keep prying eyes from seeing them.

Or do you think it might be dangerous with G? High risk / low reward?

U be stupid.

Theoretically, I don't see why the reasoning is necessarily flawed. If you hit water hard enough and fast enough, it reacts as a semi-solid object. I don't think humans can run fast enough to elicit this nature out of water, but the logic makes sense.

It's a pretty old trick - you just put plexiglass right below the surface of the water.

The Viet Cong did a version of this during Vietnam. After the US blew up a bridge they'd rebuild another one in the same area - but using wood and putting it a few inches below the water level. It's impossible to detect in murky water.

Check out the run starting at the 00:47 mark...

If you VERY quickly stop/start/stop/start that run, then in the 00:48 second period you'll see an upward splash effect *ahead* of his feet - just for a split second - caused by the shock/vibration in the board (or whatever he's running on) as his foot comes down hard on the other end of it.

Then he immediately falls and flails out his leg, causing a large splash that masks this one.
