If they left they would have to get jobs working 12 hours a day in sweat shops outside of the walled city anyway. At least there they don't have to pay taxes or worry about anything or anybody but themselves.

< deep in prc. spend no more than 5h at home usually between 3am and 8am ^^(doing nothing but opening door -> dropping down in bed -> shower -> leave)
