I thought you like to help people, you seem to enjoy posting other peoples work so why not post your own so we can all benefit from your wisdom.

anyone doing this, do yourself a favour, and go to google and type in "adult webmaster message board" and you will get the benefit of people that are actually making money at this.

One of my early mistakes was buying into that type of mentality where I'd read that a niche was saturated, too competitive, you won't make any money in it. It probably stopped me from getting into some niches that would have nicely added to the bottom line.
What I've learned is that there isn't a niche that is played out, nor too competitive. Just think Long Tail and if you don't know what the fuck that is, then go google it.
Certainly you can figure out how to make a few dollars every month off of a billion dollar annual market, right?
The key is then to replicate it a bazillion times in a bazillion niches. Why do you think Jon's building his million niche stuff?
If I average $100 per month on 100 sites, well then I believe I've figured out the key here...
Get into the saturated markets. They are saturated for a reason. It's where the money is.

Very true. There seems to be a LIFECYCLE for adult content surfers.
Level 0: Novice -- will click anything. Circle Jerk site fodder
Level 1: Newbs -- will click the FREE EZINE type site ads. They discover how to leech off TGPs/MGPs (payout: 75 cents to $1 per email)
2: Intermediate -- They discover P2P network movies. Prime fodder for fake P2P distributed WMV DRM movies and Apple QT files with popups at the end (payout: occassional Amateur Match or Camazon free dating registration)
3. Experienced -- they discover forums stocked with TONS of Rapidshare links (payout: extremely rare trial membership to rapidly updated exclusive content reality sites)
It used to take a surfer quite a while to get from level 0 to Level 3. Now, with the dawn of Rapidshare/Megaupload and social network sites spawning RS-powered forums, the pool of Noob-level surfers is quickly drying up.
Some good news though: I notice more and more webmasters PIMPING those RS forum sites by 'seeding' them with strategically edited WMV files. Who knows how long that will be tolerated though :anon.sml:

It's very risky showing the actual rapidshare url, you should you a service like RapidShare Link Protection - RapidBolt.com to mask the urls, thus stopping little potheads from reporting the files and potentially getting them deleted. :rasta:
GFY used to be a good source of information. I wouldn't bother with it now. For a newbie you won't learn that much.
