Ways you hustled before this

22 yrs old - Can't get into specifics, but it involved ebay and China.

You weren't one of those kids who stole cigarettes from their parents and flipped them for $10 at school?

I did random jobs for my parents including construction work and washing cars when I was little. When I was 11 my mom opened an espresso bar and I worked there for two bucks an hour plus tips. Mom's still the only person who ever fired me.

Other than that I worked at a tattoo shop, sold weed, worked at a bank, valet parked cars (which was pretty fun), and when I was in highschool I worked at an ice cream shop with a bunch of hot girls and I was the only guy (also a cool job). I've also had corporate jobs, but everything else has pretty much sucked compared to online marketing, except for the job with ice cream and girls. :D

That was me!! :D Never got in to selling weed. We had an elaborate 'tick' system at our school, i'm sure you know what i mean when you get it and pay for it later. The one time i did try start selling i handed out half an ounce and never saw a penny!! lol

On the legal side. We all do work experience in the UK which means basically you do two weeks real work when you are about 14 / 15. I got myself in at virgin megastore record shop. I worked my ass off and managed to talk them in to giving me a saturday job which was no mean feat as you need a special permit to work if you are under 16 which they had to get for me. Long story short i had about 1 1/2 years of getting good money (for my age) and paying NO TAX 'cos i was underage! Then i grew old enough to get in to nightclubs and saturday mornings were a no go from then on!

HAhaha... seems a lot of similar stories here.

- Billiards (used to play tournaments, can't play for shit now after a few years)

::emp::

I am exactly the same with pool. I used to have a table in my garage and literally play for hours a day. Then go in the pubs and beat all the older lads, much to their dissapointment! You are right though... If you stop playing you lose it. I wanna get back in to that i used to enjoy it.

never watched an episode of boondocks in my life, lol. I hate that anime shit. i make most of my $$ from wanna-be rappers paying me to make their mixtape covers, myspace designs, etc.

and you can better believe i bagged up and slung on foot, and most definitely - in my nike shocks hah.

you'd be surprised how many cop take downs there are because they "wait for you to get in your car" and just pull you over - less chance of running if your in a car. 90% chance you'll get away if your on foot and get a proper head start.

i bled enough in my hood before, done with all that shit now though.

p.s it's the athletic african america cops ALSO in his nike's that you have to worry about, they're usualyl faster than you. ha.

At the end of the day, it's important to keep it legal - it's not worth your time and money for someone to just come and take that away.

16-18: Went to auctions to buy surplus electronics, home goods, clothes, etc. Re-sold them on ebay. Most notable purchase. 1,000 pairs of jeans for $86.50. Sold in lots for over $1 per pair.

Oh man I forgot, I hustled in Diablo 2. Bought rare items on ebay for $100, trade them in game for stone of jordans. SOJ's would sell $5 a pop around school, so I'd double the profit easily.

I played EverQuest for 2 years during Scars of Velious / Shadows of Luclin. Level 60 warrior on 7th hammer in the top raiding guild. I had to quit right before Senior year of high school cus I was spending literally 14 hrs a day on it. I love MMORPG's but they suck the life out of you.

everquest wrecked me one summer during college. I was playing that shit 18-20 hours a day, 7 days a week. It was insane. After that I stayed away from all mmorpgs for years.

made "I <3 MJ" shirts and sold them on the corner of 34th st NY for $10 after michael jackson's death
took like $3 to buy a white tee and get it printed

I did all sorts from quite early on...growing up in south america was....erm... quite an experience!

Sold candy at school when I was 6, ice creams on the beach at 9, fireworks & cigarettes at 11. Washing cars at 12, paper rounds at 13-14, collecting golf balls & tennis balls 15-16, abit of naughty stuff in my teens then I got into ebay and shortly after, IM marketing...im still doing both

Funny to see everyone was making change from an early age! not surprising where all Marketers now
