Ok guys a valuable lesson for everyone. In the past few weeks I have been doing some major PPC.
The problem is this, the clicks werent matching with my tracking system. My tracking system was giving me lesser counts compared to my PPC accounts. Which means I was paying for more clicks and not getting them. The problem was I was paying $2.80 per click and when I added it up I was loosing around $20 per day overall in lost clicks.
So I started making complains to google and yahoo etc and they were sure that it was my end and that the clicks they were sending was valid.
Well guess what it was my web host which was down and this means google and yahoo were sending the clicks but as my host was down the visitors got "Can not open page" error and my system was not registering the clicks
So I had to get a uptime web host monitioring.
By the way the host I am using is quite well known and a lot of people use their service but it seems that we dont even think about these things and if you have a high volume campaign you could be loosing alot of money overall which you are unaware of.
You could get free uptime monitoring from this now non-affiliate link and try it out and this could save you alot of money.
My mentor has a dedicated hosting and apparently this happens to him as well and he has a inbuilt monitoring.
