Guess who's booth surprised everyone and went from a job done in a day to one of the most popular booths at the show, if not THE most popular one amongst the conference attendees?

Nope.. wasn't Google.

Nope.. not Azoogle either.

WICKEDFIRE.

YES. WICKEDFIRE! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

Thank you to everyone who swung by and entered into our 50" plasma screen TV (HDTV) contest. We're going to do the contest drawing on Monday, and the winner is going to have to show some love when they get the tv and system. They'll get a WF tshirt, and a custom WF screen saver/wallpaper programmed into the TV (suckers!). I'll be nice and also throw in the fee they usually charge to install it onto the wall if you aren't going to get the stand. Shipping is free too. Talk about one hell of a tax writeoff.

But yeah.. having the most popular booth, beating out Google is definitely one hell of an honor.

I gotta give major kudos and props to the following people for making it possible....

Shawn Collins & Missy Ward Affiliate Summit Conference - Affiliate Marketing Conferences Since 2003 - For putting on what had to have been the BEST industry show to date. Seriously. I liked this one and had more fun at it than any other I've been to, even the adult ones back in the day and AD:TECH NY which has been my favorite for years. You guys did an amazing job. Also many thanks to Shawn for coming over to the booth and cracking jokes with us, and putting that retarded picture of me into the show's booklet. He also hooked up Aden and his bf with free full conference passes when they weren't on the registration list, maybe because he didn't want the cooties (I don't blame ya), jk. And finally, Missy, THANK YOU for giving us such an awesome spot, even though it wasn't supposed to happen in that way, it turned out to do wonders for us.

Kevin & Don from GetLandingPages.com - Getting the booth and tshirts setup, designed, printed and delivered in ONE day. Without you guys we would have had to sit at our booth wearing Speedos for shock value. Thank you for sparing everyone from that type of evil.

Mike Krongel from Copeac - For sponsoring the hotel/airfare, Mansion party, tshirts, booth shit, strip club/limo (I'm actually glad I missed that, but I heard everyone had quite the ummm experience). You rock man. PS- Mike and I are NOT related, so stop fucking asking or assuming, nor do they own or partners with WickedFire, he's just what we call a really good friend in the industry.

Darin aka SEGuru & Brandy from WebmasterRadio - For sponsoring, organizing, planning and running such an awesome party for the entire conference and for the sponsors at Mansion. That party was fun as all hell and just so awesome. You guys never disappoint me when you throw parties, and hopefully people will finally recognize you guys for being such an important part of the industry, both offline and online. Darin is a true pimp (internext red pimp party suit).

Staff at Affiliate Summit - They took a ton of our tshirts and let us be loud and have a good time. Very cool people. Also would like to thank Amy from the Affiliate Summit staff for putting up with all of our last minute and REALLY annoying emails, haha. I promise to keep doing it to you before every show to keep you on your toes. But thanks for the patience, we appreciate it.

Lastly... to all of the WickedFire members who came to the show regardless of the timing or cost it may have been on some of you. For also stirring it up as usual, and showing those "school girl" affiliate managers the real side of what WickedFire is.

Like Brandon said, our new slogan is:

"WickedFire.com -- If you have to ask what it is, you don't belong here!"

Thats great, Jon!

Glad to hear it went well. Wish I could have been there. Maybe next year. :)

Next year get some damn cameras to capture the amazingness! Maybe a live feed, even! woot.

Fuck, rub it in some more.

Whatever you are thinking.... it was *better.* :anon.sml:

Congrats on the success, Jon! Looking forward to what you can do when you aren't retarded about planning it! :D

I will be at adtech, and with all this hype I'm really hoping it's as good as ASE was!

Adtech is a different kind of event than affiliate summit. For fun Affiliate Summit is much better. I wore flip flops and a sleeveless shirt to ASE but wouldn't do that to AdTech. For straight business and making relationships and finding out what's going on in the industry it's AdTech all the way.

Also if you're looking to meet people from here a lot of them go to AS where very few go to AdTech in my experience.

So all depends on what you're looking to accomplish.

Imma gonna definitely fly there nxt year.

Gonna be a pretext for me to visit the US once again :D

Thats great to hear Jon, I will be at Ad:tech in San Francisco this next time so hopefully I'll finally get to meet all you guys & gals, I'm pissed I missed out on this one, it sounds like it was a blast.

Did I miss the announcement of the winner??

Congrats Jon on the results, spewing I am 30,000 miles away in Oz would have been great to meet everyone and see the looks on the Googles reps sad little faces.

Think I am going to have start planning for '08' bcos by the sounds of it, it was too good to miss.

Peace.
