So uhh it's been awhile now since our last major DDoS attack and I'm sure me or someone else here randomly pissed some crazy person off and they decided to ramp shit up and let loose on us.

As most of you know,we get DDoS'ed just about every single day at least once since late 2006. I don't know if that's some kind of record, but it should be! You usually don't notice any issues because we're pretty good at neutralizing it and/or dealing with it at a specific level. Well, the one today, which is inevitable anyway, happened to be quite a bit larger than what we're used to seeing. Probably costing the person a few grand for the botnet rental that is smacking the crap outta us.
I used to get all upset and shit about this, but I don't anymore. It's impossible to prevent or defend against totally. Especially since we're not going to put up the insane amount of funds necessary to defend against every damn threat lobbed at us. It's the internet and some people's lulz are other people's hustle. I respect the game for what it is. Except for the pedos, can we please just kill those fuckers already?
