Let me straigten you out on a few things on the intelligence factor since you brought it up...

First, please don't pretend to have a clue about me or the scope of my web ventures or how much money I make. The site I link in my sigs on various forums and that I mention here and there I do so because they are simple sites I'm not too worried about competition on. Don't let the day job fool you kid. I still have a day job because A) I'm greedy like that. and B) Because I truly enjoy what I do. You ever had a job like that? Didn't think so. As for Burger flipping, nice joke son but I happen to work for the U.S. Department of Defense. Specifically DISA. I'm a video network engineer and am respected as an expert in the field of video over ISDN and IP. Need proof? PM me for my .MIL email address...




So what have you done that makes you feel you are so much wiser than me? PPC arbitrage? Are you claiming to be smarter than me because you can do something that you've admitted countless times there is no secret to and is really just hard work? I don't think anyone besides your noob following thinks you're a genius for that.

And allow me to beat you to your response question... If it's so easy why am I not doing it? Number one I am busy running real sites. I know quite a few people in the $50k plus monthly range that dont that don't do PPC arbitrage *gasp* imagine that!

I whole heartedly assure you that if I so desired to invest the initial mental effort into PPC arbitrage I'd be making more money per month than you make now per month in less than a month. Why do I believe that? Because not only am I smarter than you but contrary to what you think you know about me I have far more investment capital than you did when you started. Don't for a second think you are blazing unknown territory here OK?

Now if you'd be so kind to point me to anything you've ever said to make anyone believe you've done anything but work hard on arbi sites, I'd appreciate it.

PS - there should be some type of warning label on pain killers for Chrislingle that states "take your anger to EF and see if you can make 1000 threads there before they ban you".

Have I ever had a job that I love doing, yes, the one I am doing, and the one I did before this, and the one before that, and the one before that - why, because I have never had a boss! I have always been self employed

I have never worked for the gov. my dad is a ret. 06 I know what that is like, if in fact you truly love working for the gov. you are one of the few. (as for saying you are greedy like that, what is your rank? do they do gs? cause gov. jobs don't pay much!) most people who do are there for the security whether they want to admit it or not.

if you think I am full of shit that is your right, I do not attest to knowing all things. I will say one thing I do more than anyone is work hard and study. I constantly learn. My computer skill was in hardware not the internet, I worked my ass off, I still suck at programming but I know enough to be dangerous, I will say I could sell matches in HELL, (who cares about ice cubes to escimos (sp) that is just a brick salesman.)

I am not sure were the standard attack comes from that I think I am doing something new or special? wtf? I took some initiative on this board to start some threads that have helped some people, they even help me because I am constantly learning new things. If there is something I am doing that some one has a diff opinion on they usually post it, the thing is, there are few wrong answers at this if you do the basics, I have been saying all along this is not rocket science so please tell me were I did.

congratulations george i think you put that pretty well. Arbitrage from what i see is just alot of really hard work to not really make that much, or nowhere near what i make. Im in this game to get straight up rich not to get by. i started doing this 4 years ago with the complete intention on getting rich, and ive been driven by that the whole time, my intention isnt to bust my ass to make 1k a month or something. apparently 99% of the people here are doing arbitrage, i dont get it theres a ton of money to be made in other places.
 
oh, what did I do before this? I started out as a personal trainer with quite a few trainers working for me in various gyms around san antonio, then I got into the computer surplus business were I did ebay and brick and mortar stores. I also financed plastic surgery for strippers for awhile that business was sold to a company called jayhawk out of Dallas in the late 90's, they have been bought and sold a few times since then.

I find it funny curious george that you would say I assume something about you (standard black line?) but you assumed I have never done anything up until now that was successful, hummm is that not the pot calling the kettle black?
you can pull an omorosa if you want on that one!

I was going to ignore you seriously... but you actually made a sensible post. wtf?!?!

I am completely honest when I say I truly did not believe you had it in you. I see now all the angry profanity laced tirades you go on are just an act.. or the pain meds..

But yeah, I'm a contractor. Which means the government pays me as a freelancer. Considering the government overpays for everything from a nail to a toilet lid, you can imagine how much they pay engineers. Ask your dad how much contractors make :D

And give him a salute for me, I resigned my commish in the Army as an 02. ;)
 
I know what the gov. pays contractors and I know what the gov. should pay them. I also understand why a toilet seat costs $800, it is wrong but I understand why!
