Since this is WickedFire I would suggest a three-way!
Kiva, Wounded Warrior and then choose between St.Jude and Scottish Rite.

You know that your Kiva money doesn't actually go to the individual whose picture is on the website, right? It's a bit like when you buy a goat for some kid in Africa through Oxfam.

It's a very clever marketing tactic, and something charities have been doing since the 70s.
It's not a reason NOT to fund them imo though. They still do a lot of good. Just interesting to see what's really going on.
Thanks for pointing this out, I was already aware of this but didn't really want to point it myself as I am trying to avoid swaying it one way or another.
