What are the best games for the 360?

So here's the deal - looking to get a few games for my 13 year old son. He's not into sports games, he likes shit like Halo, Bioshock, Assassins Creed etc. So what's the best shit out there now? Haven't played xbox in awhile so I don't know. Was looking at the knect, but the few games they have look pretty gay. Suggestions?
 


Assassins Creed 2 and Assassins Creed Brother Hood. Also the Batman game for the 360. Shit awesome brah.
 
get him black ops.

then barman, your son and I can play together. possibly ChrisS as well. no parents allowed.
 
The knect is gay, and so are the games.......for now.

Get him a bad-ass, rough and tumble game like assassin's creed or black ops, and then get him the knect.

It may have shit games now, but it is what everyone and every one of his friends is surely talking about. Makes you the rockstar dad, and better games are sure to come out for the device soon.
 
People have been saying the new Need for Speed is good??

I used to play Halo but now it's only Fifa, takes up too much time and half the people on live are a bunch of c*nts anyway.
 
Just picked up AC Brotherhood, Gears of War 2 and Fallout New Vegas. Was gonna get Black Ops but thought I saw a thread on here when it came out saying it was shit...? His bday is in a month so I'll probably wait on the kinect.
 
Black Ops is probably one of the dumbest shooters I played all year. Battlefield BC2 still dominates.

Mass Effect 2... effing amazing.
Left 4 Dead 2
Borderlands
Fable 3 is alright
Red Dead Redemption
Final Fantasy XIII
 
The graphics on Black Ops are a little weak compared to the previous Call of Duty, but it's still a cool game. If he's into those types he'll probably dig it.

And we just picked up Kinect. I think it has the potential to be really cool. The games out now aren't that great, but it's kind of like Wii games on steroids.
 
who doesnt like sports games? Madden 11 is legit. Fun when you do online franchises for money. Madden challenge, legooo!

But other then that, halo reach and black ops

IMO its shit. Sold it to my friend for lots of double cheeseburgers.
 
Halo Reach and Battlefield BC2 with the Vietnam expansion. Castlevania Lords of Shadow if he likes fantasy combat games.
