Hey Guys,

I'm in the process of starting a content creation company and I know that many of you are constantly buying content.

So, If you get a chance, please post your positive and negative experiences with content creation freelancers/companies. This should help me get off to a smooth start.

Thanks.

kblessinger pretty much summed it up...pick 2.

the one that you can afford to miss in my opinion is speed (as long as it's within reason). just make sure you underpromise and overdeliver on the turn around time. there's a lot of article providers that promise 24-48 hour turnarounds, but honestly, unless i'm just starting the site and need content immediately, i always have reserves, and don't really care whether it's a day or 5 days.

nothing pisses me off more than shit quality that I have to spend time re-doing. price is less important than quality, but can still have a big impact on my decision, since i purchase around 20 articles/week currently...it adds up.

You should specialize.

There is a market for cheap low-quality articles.

There is a market for moderately priced high-quality articles.

Know where you stand.

Do your best to keep quality consistent.
