Atlanta, GA
Football season is just over a month away and the other football thread got me a little pumped up. I know that I can't be the only college and pro football fan on here so I figured I'd ask who else out there was going to any games this year?

Here's my list thus far:

College:

Clemson vs. FSU (Bowden Bowl); Clemson, SC

South Carolina vs. Florida; Columbia, SC

South Carolina vs. Clemson; Columbia, SC

SEC Championship game; Atlanta, GA

Pro:

Atlanta Falcons vs. Carolina Panthers; Atlanta, GA

I may hit up some more games, though. Depending. Any of you guys that are in college at some good football schools that have some extra student tickets laying around should hit up your boy. :D If the game is good enough, I'll damn sure be on a plane to hang out for the weekend and beer is on me!

college:
September 15 USC at Nebraska
October 27 Nebraska at Texas

Pro
September
16
Chiefs at Bears
23
COWBOYS at Bears
October 7th
Bears at Packers

I've actually never been to an NFL football game, but I'm a HUGE Patriots fan. They're looking very, very good this year.

I don't see anyone beating the Patriots. Adding a Randy Moss who has something to prove and Adalius Thomas who is the most versatile defender in the league... don't see them getting beat.

But... I think the SuperBowl will essentially be the AFC Championship game... either the Pats, Colts, Ravens or Chargers... and for some reason I think the Chargers will choke and the Colts will seem suddenly complacent. Pats vs. Ravens...

Falcons fan here. Things aren't looking so good for us. It sucks too, because I find it harder to get into a random NFL game than a random college game. Its hard for me to be into NFL unless I have a team to follow, and Atlanta isn't going to have much of a team to follow.

I guess its SEC football for me then.

I may go to an LA Galaxy game...Long ass drive though...

Of course, when San Jose gets they're team going again im definitely gonna be hitting every home game...wait, we aren't talking about Major League Soccer? Nevermind then...

Atlanta just needs to get rid of the thug QB that holds dog fights. And the SEC is great college football. Although, I am a huge Big Ten fan.

Now an undefeated season, that would be nice. :)

The only weakness they've got in my mind is the lack of Corey Dillon - that "dual core" if you will was a HUGE strength. Nothing wrong with Lawrence Maroney, but the two of them together were amazing. But of course, they won't have to rely on the running game as much now with such a strengthened receiving core.

Youch. Falcons fan, huh? My gf's entire family lives in the Atlanta area so they are all huge fans too. I'm a Carolina fan seeing as how I'm from Carolina so it's fun to talk a little trash back and forth with them. I think that it was especially fun last year because neither team did will and they ended the season basically the same. This year the Falcons are going to be dismal, though.

SEC football is always the way to go, though.

Every Baltimore Ravens Home Game. I'll have seats for 2/3 of the games and since I live a 10 minute walk from the stadium, I'll be out there tailgating the other 1/3.

No shit dude! I've got season tickets to the Ravens games too. Where do you sit? I got right behind the endzone non-band side, about 7th row up from the field ;)

I'll be there for Ravens vs Eagles (I'm ravens, girlfriend eagles)

and I'll also watch every Penn State game as well.
