What is the point?

OK, so I've just signed up to this thing and wanted to vent some angst. I was a member of another popular forum that has the word 'Point' in the title (as in What is the Point!), but have been banned for allegedly having two accounts.

I don't have two accounts, I've never had two accounts and I didn't want two accounts. I can't question this decision because my IP has been instantly banned and the webmaster email just pings back automated responses saying that it's full (probably full of emails from other disenchanted people)

Please please please tell me there is some degree of common sense in this forum and that I can actually enjoy my time here. What is the point of having a 'community' forum if it's ran like a police state. That's it, rant over, thanks for listening.

Yes 1 whole account! How incredibly outrageous of me. The way things have been going lately I'm going to issue a self imposed ban, sell my laptop and move into the gardening business. That'll show 'em!

i believe your problem was that you had only 2 accounts but had made more than 2 posts. DP requires you to make a new account for each post you make, so they can track the posts better. simply sign up a new account for each post and you'll be a-okay.

Your mom is probably monitoring your online activity, hence the two accounts from one IP.
