What Kind Of Car Do You Drive?

From now until spring - my 2004 GMC 2500HD go anywhere, bird hunting, deer hunting, snowplowing, sled hauling rig...along with my occasional co-pilot.
Got rid of my big ass SUV, too much gas ( I was driving about 132 miles daily )
but still got this one:
Both Jap, both were reliable. Hitting 100k on the Pilot and not a damn thing ever wrong with it. Same for the Toyota, but I let that go at 65K miles.
I thinking about dropping some money on this below though with the "solid as a rock" 300 CI I6. Engine never fails on these and drop dead easy to work on myself. Easier on gas, can haul my boats, and tow my kids around:

I actually bought another one. First one was automatic and I decided I wanted a 6 speed manual. N/A for now. 286bhp stock (248whp) and It's putting down 303whp now. Catalytic converter deletes, mandrel bent downpipe, 2.5" dual catback exhaust, 3.7L ported and polished intake manifold, runners, and throttle body, 3.5" CAI, stage 3 solid disc Spec clutch(stock feel, but good for 700/700).
I'm on stock ECU right now. Running a tad bit lean so I'll need to tune before winter. Axial drive supercharger build in progress.

That's sweet. My sons civic puts down about 400hp, 33 mpg all built and tuned himself.

Suspension upgrades, front/rear sway bar upgrades, wider tires, etc. Stock tire width on my car is 235/45-17. I'm on 255/40-17s now and will have to go to 275s after S/C. Fenders are rolled. Still peel tires first and second and chirp in third. Torque steer is a bitch.
You have to be a special kind of person to want to modify a FWD car for power.

Nice, I get about 34MPG highway 22 city. Cars are fun. Money pits, but fun. K series/ B series engine have much more wallet friendly aftermarket tuning options and out of the box forced induction setups.
