I'm at about 98%.

Back when I began 5-6 years ago, it seemed like whatever I tried would make money. Now it's about the opposite.

Not sure if it's the economy, more competition, or just my shitty ideas, but it's getting tough for me...

"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed." ~ Michael Jordan.

i have so many ideas that just dont get into production.
I hope that i dont waste resources and time on projects doomed to fail.
I am heavily invested in two new projects right now, if they fail. I will be forced to take outside investment money to try anything else.
Living on the edge. :)

lastyear two sweet little old ladies knocked on my door saying with a concerned face "...in these tough times...we need to find answers in our lives, the economy is bad and people are worried."

yes they were jehovah witnesses. I kindly smiled back at them and said "times aint tough in my household, life is good, thank you!"

and I sent them on their way.

If your carsalesman job went south, time to become a home security alarm saleman. when one thing stops working something else opens up.
Hustle is the name of the game.

I've been failing for the past 2 and a half years since I got started and only a handful of my schemes have actually brought me back some money. You're definitely not alone, you just need to learn to embrace it and accept it as part of the process.

Stop listening to peoples success stories and go find some stories about the actual work that was done to get there and how many times people failed that should keep you going.

Maybe if you did something WORTHWHILE you wouldn't have this problem. Schemes are short term money makers for scheisters, build a business!

I guess I should have chosen better words. All of the things I have tried have been legitimate and I only pursued them because I thought they had some sort of long term potential.

Outside of the US, 'schemes' doesn't have such a negative connotation.

Making money isn't a statistical probability.

You don't have a 2% chance of making money.

If you have a bad idea, don't work hard and don't have good timing, your success rate is probably 0%.

If you have a good idea, bust your ass and get some things to go your way, your success rate is more likely to be 100%.

The question I have for the OP is, which two suck? Your hustle, your creativity or your timing?
