What would you do with 30k USD ?

clyde, this idea will not work out like you want. If you want to do this 5 years ago - maybe, but also by this time your good sites wouldn't be 1 page landers btw:)

goddamn, don't do this shit. I'm all for taking risks to get ahead, but you're

A - taking on personal debt
B - from a bank
C - to scale non-organically
D - to try and service the debt with income from fucking google of all places
E - using a biz model from 2005
F - when you've had success with product creation
G - and asking permission to do it!

Banks never have your best interest at heart. Google will castrate you.

couldnt read this full thing... but don't most people like to start small then scale...

not scale right away and cross fingers? especially not with money they have... aka not taking a loan..

horrible idea

lol debt, debt lol

Don't do it, seriously. You can do the same with about $3,000 and still profit longterm. Think education, grants, etc.

I only need 50c/day/site. Which is impossible not to make..?

$500/day = $15k/month. $1k for workers to promote and add content each month, $1k for loan payment, $13k goes into my pocket.. and I have a good retirement plan. Might get a registrar account and cut the middle man if I plan on expanding.

Sounds lovely dude. If it is so easy to bank like that then you can do it without a loan. What do you need the loan for? So you can give the bank a $30,000 present for nothing?

Because I don't have 30k cash. Even if each website only makes 25c/day I'd make $250/day and still be able to pocket $5-7k into my pocket after paying the bank and workers.. this is my logic of course.

What I'm doing I think is just a variation of domain parking. Only that this one is more lucrative. i.e Adsense for Domain VS Adsense Content Network. I'm still waiting on more feedbacks though, from people who have done this 5 years ago, and bank'ed.

Best rule in life: Do not borrow money unless you are using it to purchase an appreciating asset.

That is all.

This is the exact reason why I'm leaning more and more towards this business model. Buying domain names is like buying real estates. ;)

lol it helps if you know a little bit about what you're doing before taking the plunge and stacking your chips on the domain roulette table. Have you even tried doing what you're doing once and succeeded or is this purely experimental and speculation that you'll be bathing in $100 bills after this all goes down?

Only if you're buying quality domains w/ resale potential. 1,000 crappy domains are a $8,000 a year liability, not an asset. If you're hand registering 1,000 or more domains in a short period of time, most of them will be crap.

You know what, maybe I should try this with 200 domains, first. and scale up from there. If I can hit $100/day from this particular batch, I don't see why I can't with 1000 domains.

Thanks for all the f/b guys. They've been very helpful.
