Generally when you buy facebook fans, they are not very active. Infact from the test i did, they are not active at all! :)
So my question is, what use you have for those? Is it just to make the page look better? Or the idea is to get viral reaction going on? (In which i also didin't have success with those)

I guess i'm just looking for ideas about what to do with those fans, that are generally not interested in the page they liked :)

any opinions are appreciated!

taking advantage of the herd mentality. Nobody wants to join a FB page with under 100 fans. But lets say you have a page with 100k, now you look legit. All the facebook sheep eat that shit right up.

Because sites using the facebook button without an appropriate amount of likes makes people *not* want to engage via facebook. Social Proof as said above.

You buy facebook fans/twitter fans to make your site/yourself seem more reputable. Having 5k+ followers/fans makes your site/product or service seem legit and make's people more likely to spend money.

Would you rather buy a product from a site with 100k fans or 30 fans? enough said.

Just so people are more comfortable liking a page that already has tons of likes.

Exactly, it's the herding effect that makes buying fans a profitable investment in the long term.

to keep retarded real world clients happy, who measure their whole 'social media strategy' on how many likes they have and are too stupid to realise that most of them are fake accounts

Types of Facebook Followers You Can Get:

1. Fake accounts - The most clever internet marketers pick up a ton of fake accounts that people on fiverr make with automation software and then have all these fake accounts like your page.

2. Foreign accounts - There are always tons of people in India, Malaysia, China, who have nothing better to do than to like Joe's Corner Store in Wisconsin on Facebook. They like it so much they may just get on a plane to visit...

3. Jacked accounts - Some shit head makes a game or some app on facebook that people will want to add to their page... it instead is used to make people like pages they aren't really trying to click on. This gets people complaining and causing problems for you, making Facebook complaints and crap.

4. Legit - What many consider to be the worst way to get likes because they usually just get the top 3 types of accounts instead. It actually takes quite awhile to amass these followers, or some very clever content and lots of daily interaction. Or just use Facebook ads and pay $1+ per like...

Some say search engines track facebook likes as well. Oh, and "fake it til you make it. "

Google definitely takes +1s into account, it takes cues from Twitter and may or may not take cues from Facebook...

It makes your buisness work good .

When you buy facebook fans whether they are not active but it makes your product/ user look very attractive. When you post something then your post is important to other's because you have much more fans than anyone else had who wants to know which of your fans are not active. You will have more repo then anybody else. When u join face book u must have searched most popupar user's. Have u checked how many active user he have?

Thanks for the input everyone, so it's pretty much as i though, not real use :>

Has anyone measured what's the click through % of those when you post URLs on the fan page?
