Haha I posted a similar thread a year+ ago, and discovered there were like 3 other MBTI threads that preceded mine.

So basically, 90% of everyone on this forum is an NT of some kind. It makes sense that MBTI would come up so frequently given how NT's tend to naturally break things down into comprehensive "systems."

MBTI makes human beings more legible.

I'm an ENTP btw.

The flowery back-patting type descriptions don't get into the unflattering aspects of things, such as how NTs are most likely to be psychopaths. Given how the majority of this forum are likely NTs... explains some things.

I can't speak for anyone else here, but I can tell you I'm one burned out synapse away from being a full-blown sociopath.

I already feel like I'm 90% there. I have to force myself to experience even the slightest bit of empathy on a daily basis, but I know it's worth it in the end.

I just don't have the mental boundaries or emotional needs most folks have. No thought is too taboo, no theory too dark to explore, and no person worth getting attached to. Anti-sentimental, moderately misanthropic, internally antisocial (although ostensibly extroverted, quirky, and confident), and brutally pragmatic about human relationships.

Kidding. I love most ppl, and I'm only occasionally cynical. Your NT theory is probably baseless. ESTPs/ISTPs are most likely to suffer from sociopathy, btw (based on personal experience, I would say this claim has some weight to it).
