good if you threaten to break their legs if they don't pay back on time.

bad if you straight up give it to them, they will always be back for more, and when you don't give them more, they will hate you for it.
 
Just tell them you work at a bar and barely get minimum wage, won't be back for more after that
 
Well i have learnt not to loan any of my friends money unless they have a real reason on why they need the money. All my money goes to the bank directly, i barely have any cash with me , i do that so i can focus on my investments...Thats the flawless route to building a fortune.

But i dedicate a portion of my income to the poor and people who cant find a job.
 
It's rare that my friends and family ask me to help financially, but if they do I'll usually help them out if the request is reasonable. My family doesn't have a lot of money so I end up helping them quite a bit without them asking me for help. If I ever felt like I was being used or taken for granted then that would be the end of that and I would be closing my wallet.
