I'd steer clear of JVC camcorders. not the best reputation. Can't say specifically this one, but there are a LOT of people out there complaining about jvc camcorders giving errors, myself included. The idea seems pretty cool though.

Yeah whats with the low quality on Youtube? Bandwith and space aside you'd think they'd allow higher resoluton videos to display.

Get a Canon digital camera with an 8GB memory card. Video quality is as good as a camcorder and it is much more mobile.

That's weird I have a JVC Everio with the 30gb HD about a year old and nothing but praises for it. The hard disk is a real piece of kit and can hold a butt load of video. Used it on honeymoon to Hawaii and everyone that saw the video later was impressed with the quality. I like the little remote control too. No technical problems to report of any kind.
