You need a rolodex of smart people. It really depends what problem you are looking to fix as to who might be the best fit. I know some people on here who would be my goto guys for certain things, but not for everything. Jack of all trades, master of none.

So the smartest person is probably the one with the best rolodex, and the ability to leverage what is in that rolodex.
