Who else does this? One place for home, one place for dates, to help ensure you don't pickup a stalker amongst your ventures. Once you get to know someone well enough, then let them know where you actually live.

How many of you do this?

I used to keep a loft apartment in a large city I was in once or twice a month.

It was basically a one room shoebox but pretty cool, nonetheless. I broke two IKEA beds in that place rawdogging two separate recent Auburn University graduates.

In other news: recent Auburn University graduates are hot and slutty. Highly recommended.

I haven't rebuilt my situation back up enough to enjoy that luxury yet. I do have a friend who has a nice condo in the same city as his primary residence. He bought it on the cheap as an investment, and uses it to make his private collection videos with girls he picks up at clubs or online.

i'm pretty frugal and cheap, but this is one of the things i spend a little money on (monthly recurring expenses counted only). 2 friends and I have a pretty sick place by the lake with a rooftop terrace. it was for us to hang out, and work, but honest, i just went along with it because there is a few bars across, and you can point to the roof, wanna go up there? and i'm sure buddies did it for the same reason.

i have a tinder van

You don't really need a dating pad, you have to have some common sense when it comes to your own security and whereabouts, I book cheap hotels or have them book it and I pay for lunch or some shit like that.

If you have stalker, you will know about that the first time you meet on how crazy she is when she actually opens her mouth, those you must let go immediately. All you have to do is ask about her family and siblings, that right there is all you need on how she will react to you.

There is nothing wrong with keeping a secret apartment in the next county over. Pro tip for the married guys set the lease up under a New Mexico llc

Gotta agree to disagree with this one. 3 months minimum to get to know the basics of someone, and about 3 years of living together day after day to get to know each other inside & out.

You'd have to get through the locked entrance, security in the lobby, and the key card protected elevator before you can even get to my floor, so I'm not too worried about that.

no idea what kind of crazy ass hoes youre fucking , god damn.

or do women go crazier the older they get?

Sure, awesome idea to get a second pad when you live in Chiang Mai. Not so much if you live in Vancouver.

Exactly what I'm thinking! Back in Vancouver I was paying $2000/month for a tiny 1bdrm furnished condo. Very nice condo, and excellent location, but nonetheless, still just a tiny 1bdrm.

Here on the other hand, I can have two fully furnished houses with large gated yards for about $1000/month. I'm not really sure why, but I still have keys to the old house, and technically, still have it for another few weeks.

I'm thinking, I might just keep it. The owner's sister lives next door, so I can give her a set of keys, then put up an IP camera or 5, and have two houses. What the hell, two nicely furnished houses here is the same price as an unfurnished studio apartment in Calgary, so why not?

Well of course.

Bottomline is, you guys offshore are living a life that would be completely unrealistic in most North American cities.

date ... what? You're on the wrong forum buddy. The closest to a date that people get here is when they get their rubber dolls delivered

Location, location location.

I dunno about 'living a life' - but certainly agree with 'paying insanely low cost of living' <because... well.... c'mon thats pretty obvious>

I think security wise however you're a lot better living in an expensive area decently vs. having multiple homes in a 3rd world country while having that get around in the singles scene.

Talk about becoming a target.
