I will be back there in a few months
My lady and I are also planning to be in Chiang Mai for a while, hopefully in a few months. I know that's far away, but a PM is highly likely because you know the burrito shop inside the wall that makes GIANT burritos. . . those burritos are meant to be raced.
and excellent guacamole there
where you staying?
Why do people prefer Chiang Mai over Bangkok/Phuket/Koh Samui? (honest question; I'm sure there's some good reason)
Hows the weather? Isn't it rainy season at the moment?

Not a big polluted city, better food, nicer people, less eurotrash, 2 awesome mountains to explore with amazing stuff on/around them. If you love beaches, sure, go to the south. If you love nightlife, bangkok is better. If you like hiking and hanging out in a more relaxed city, nothing beats chiang mai =)
why don't you talk about the other reason it's your fav city bruh

Does anyone have experience with getting an education visa to train muay thai? Would rather do that than Thai language classes, but the idea of an education visa appeals to me.
BUMPING FOR GREAT INTEREST!
I was leaning more towards language classes- Anyone care to shed some light on this?
