Who here owns a drone?

So, what do I need to buy to be able to fly to Wendy's to get a Baconator and bring it back without going outside?

Get in on the drone fun now. My guess is within the US over the next few years they are going to end up getting pretty much completely banned within most cities or areas with pretty much any people.

Just wait until the first drone falls out of the sky on a kid at the beach and they end up with a few injuries. Drones will become public enemy #1 and easy fodder for politicians :ak:

I'd love one that I can enter coordinates of a location and it would go straight there, capture pics/vids and report back...

I'd imagine you could get real creative with an Arduino or Raspberry Pi to facilitate this.

I want a drone so I can make videos like this:

I have a Parrot AR Drone 2.0 and will likely be upgrading to their new Bebop with the Sky Controller.
The SC boosts range to ~2km, although I doubt the battery would last that far and back anyways - just want the extra level of control and range confidence, etc.
I really like the stabilized video from it.

Also considered doing a drone website, but there are some good ones out there already (and I have enough neglected aff sites without adding another one).

Can't wait for Amazon drones. Same day delivery. The drone holds onto your package and flys to your house.
