Who went to college.. and who dropped out?

I took one year of Engineering, realized I hated it. I'm taking a gap year this year, then going back for Business next fall.

I took the three year advertising program in community college. It was cheap and it got me a job. Most agencies (in Canada at least) prefer the hands-on training it provides.

Drop out?? I wish I was still there!!!!

Man college was the best time of my life... I got a athletic-ride so I didn't pay but you have no responsibilities, hot bitches, easy classes, crazy parties, and I got to fuck around with my business... :rasta:

How could someone in their right mind dropout out to fucking work all the time??? :uhoh2:

Graduated Michigan Engineering in 3.5 yrs, in the process of applying to HBS now. Will know in January if I get in.

Went to college, graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration with an emphasis in Computer Information Systems.

I'm pretty sure I attended the college with the best name ever...Morehead State University. Can't get better than "morehead"

Lol, morehead... are you nuts?:love-smiley-083::love-smiley-083::love-smiley-083:

Heh... my story must be the dullest of them all...
Still at UNI (aiming for a master's deg.), so basically I'm trying to play both sides - education and $$$. So far, I'm doing ok, but I think it's mainly because I like what I'm studying (I also noticed quite a few of you people don't/didn't like what you are/were studying).
I'm also a more hands-on guy, I do extremely good work at labs and practical stuff (projects and whatnot), but I fuck up bigtime at exam time and usually barely pass to get my damn credits - damn it, I'm not going to spend that much time stuffing crap into my head that I'm most likely never going to use and of which I forget around 90% in a few weeks... so what's your excuse?:thefinger::485:

"Lot's of people go to college for 7 years"

"Yea, their called Doctors"

Yeah a lot of people think it's a joke. I don't know how many times I see someone with a "Morehead
State" or shirt on, I ask them if they go there, and they tell me "it's a joke" and I let them know it's not. lol.

At least it's actually spelled "Moorhead."

My sister just began attending that college this year.

I went to college for several years, but never really took it serious at the time. I eventually dropped out to start a business. There are times of remorse when I wish I would have finished up and times I wish contemplating going back, but then again I am not sure what I would get out of that now.

For anyone who is in college now, I would advise seeing it through. It will not kill you. College can be some of the best fun of your life. I know it was for me. :) I had a blast. Just didn't study enough.

Conversely, my best friend is a doctor, and he finished his internship up about 2 years ago. He is doing very well for himself, but he had to go through a ridiculous amount of schooling. A level I know I could have never managed.

The cool thing about being involved in making money on the internet is your schedule is amazingly flexible, so it is really the best thing to be doing and going to school at the same time.

"Hey, which college does your sister go to?"
"Oh, she just enrolled to moorhead (or morehead) college"
":338: :338: ... oh, REAAAAAAALY?!?!? ":banana_sml:

Dropped out myself as well. You can learn in 6 months in a real-time environment what you learn in 4 years at college.

Overrated.
