Who would be the best contender against Obama?

Lots of people I imagine could beat him if they had the backing of the republican party. I don't think hes that strong of a candidate to begin with, maybe hope and change obama, but not 2012 obama. Ron Paul could prolly beat him, he would get a lot of independents and dems and most of the reps. I imagine gary johnson could of probably done the same. But it looks like the next pres is gonna be obama, santorum or romney. Since all three of them suck then it just gonna be obama winning because it's hard enough to beat the incumbent as it is, let alone if you are just a terrible candidate.
The funny thing is, Ron Paul would probably get more votes from democrats and independents than from Republicans. The Republican Party and FOX News are his biggest opponents.
Very true. But if it's just him going up against Obama, he would get the Republican vote, or many wouldn't vote at all.
