I just wanted to know who all was banking on the stock market this week. I just put 3k into my account and I and going to end the week positive by 400 dollars. :xomunch:

Anyone else is not buying this depression crap and is buying while the market is down?
 


Come Tuesday morning, I'm pumping a shitload of cash into it the second it drops beneath 8000 again.
 
I made some money back today, but am still at a loss for the week overall.. still cautious to dump a ton of money into stocks right now but who knows I might anyway. Scottrade keeps stopping me from buying stocks I want for no fucking reason they just say I need to call to order.. even stocks like MS, makes no sense.

What are your guys thoughts regarding US automotive companies? GM and Ford are at bargain prices right now, for obvious reasons, but I can't imagine them not being able to pull through..

In the past they've had to get bailed out, and the money's not there to do that right now.
I'm betting on them breaking off sections of themselves and selling to foreign automakers. They'll keep the more symbolic brands, but...yeah. Detroit is in trouble from so many angles I wont even bother typing em all out.

Actually, they love the huge gas guzzelers. It's seen as a status symbol over there. GM is the the top selling automaker in China right now. They did $1 Billion in profit vs. losing $9 Billion here in the US.

Lol. Everyone knows the creedo "Buy Low and Sell High".
How hard has it been to buy right now for you guys? I just bought on Monday and the stock has gone down and I'll buy again next month regardless of the Dow being high or low. What are your thoughts?

Well it seems they don't since the trend this last week has been to sell while its low. People are so fearful now that they want the cash in hand.

I have plans on buying more on Monday but I am in it for the long run. There are to many deals on the market to let pass up. Plus with the fed coming out today saying that they are going to start buying stakes in the banking system things should start to rebound soon. I am betting that today was the bottom of the market and next week should start to see slow gains. Gotta be quick come Monday.
 
I just made a cool $25 playing the markets, buy low sell high thats my motto. I may just quit my job as an AM to become a full time stock market guy.
 
DJ is up about 600 points, seems like Friday was the bottom of the market. Time to open the champaign MS went from 7.00 to 16.00 a share.

Still a few days left of rebounds probably. You may still be able to find some deals left.
