The people in Greece did the same thing with me.

Ok, look over there, concentrate, calm yourself and when you are ready, tell me. Then I will count "1...2...3.... Bungee" and you jump forward.

I concentrate, calm my mind, say "OK"."123bungee!!!"

And before I know it, I jump.

hahaha... i almost shit myself when the guys started saying shit like ..oh good thing you guys are the last ones for the day...because we have to replace these old harnesses and cords....hahah bastards... great times.

As for skydiving....man, friend of mine is going in 2 weeks...shes like come on!....ahh think im gona need a little break before i give myself a heart attack... but bungee yah i wanna defiantly do it again....my form sucked ass!...i kinda just fell over yelling....funny to watch on video...

At least you had the sense to jump over water. I jumped off a crane in the middle of a field in Bumblefuck, Alabama. Who knows where the nearest hospital was, not that it would have mattered anyway if the cord broke. I did a swan dive on my first jump like you did. I swear I thought I was dead! The ground just kept nearer and nearer. On my video, you can distinctly hearing me yelling "oh shit". It was definately a rush. My second jump of the day, I jumped off backwards, which was a whole different sensation.

Uzzz... don't let this opportunity pass you by. Skydiving is one of the most awesomest things I have ever done, beating Bungee by miles. (Literally as well... he)

Skydiving was great - i'll be doing it again sometime after the kids are grown up.

You know what else looks really cool? Paragliding . . . flying for miles in the quiet . . .
 
I haven't tried either, but it's on my todo list.

I'm working towards getting my pilot's license, so I don't exactly have a fear of heights... but I would be scared shitless that the rope would break.

Emp - Yahhh ... I'll prolly try skydiving...dosent seem so bad now....but mb next year ....something to look forward to ya know...plus i think my nerves are shot for now hah.

Janiac - I didnt think i would do it either...im scared shitless of heights.....but its just that 1 leap....and your good to go...let gravity do its job.

All I got to say is don't do the stupid tandem shit, where they strap you to someone. Jump by yourself, doing a static line, its where they hook a strap to your parachute so it automatically pulls after you jump out of the plane. If you want to jump often that's how you start. It's also cheaper than going tandem, you typically can jump a few times by yourself before you'd reach the cost of a tandem. However that may vary by location.

Where I have gone to sky dive, you only have to do five static lines before they let you free fall and the jumps keep getting cheaper as you go.
