Who's your favorite stand up comedian?

Louis CK is an obvious #1. I think his show sucks, but his stand-up is without equal. He changes his act completely once per year, rips up all his old jokes and never does them again. By the end of the year he has a completely new act that has been tweaked to perfection and then they film. Rinse, repeat.

#2 I gotta go with my Irish brother Bill Burr.

Bill Burr -- irish comedian(complete with red hair), pretty big asshole, but funny as hell

Jim Gaffigan -- saw him live once, was pretty sweet

YES!!!! Bill Burr FTMFW! That man is hilarious and has the balls to talk about stuff that is fairly inappropriate but everyone is thinking. "Why do I do this?" Is one of my favorite standups of all time.

"Muffins" - This kind of thing happens to me all to often and having someone play it out in bit was soooo money to watch.

Hedberg, yes.

You know, Joe Rogan used to always get on my nerves and I never thought he was very funny at all, until he took the stage one night randomly at the Hollywood Improv (not scheduled to appear) stoned out of his mind...and it was honestly amazing. I think he has to compromise a lot of his character for TV.

LOL that show was SO bad. The woman that plays his wife is in his new show as well, but a a different character.

Does Izzard still do the cross-dressing thing? I know he's been doing a lot of acting recently, and obviously he has to dress as his character, but does he still get in drag for his comedy show?

+1 for Gervais
