If the middle class is "shrinking" (i.e. going from middle class to poor) does that make them less intelligent?
Your republican logic is completely shit-fucked. Why do you ride oligarch dick anyway? How does riding said billionaires dick improve your life? Oh you must be one of those people who go out and buy iphones and thank Steve Jobs personally like he did you some big fucking favor (when really it was the company behind it, not him)?
I know plenty of fucking POOR but educated and intelligent people. I know people with economics graduate degrees who are struggling in this shitty economy.
You and your little band of gay republican friends in this thread need to have a little fucking sympathy. The fuck off your high-horse.
If there was ever a bunch of gay webmasters who need an ass-ripping, its some of the careless, heartless shitbags in this thread.
NOTE: I lean libertarian on alot of issues, but I have sympathy for the poor and hate crony capitalism. I want to disrupt that bullshit. Being poor fucking sucks and we need a system that allows everyone to make an honest living and no class or interest groups gets fucked. Especially the poor.
If you think $30K/year is a comfortable life, you're either delusional, or have never experienced what a decent life is. Living off $30K/year is living check to check, never having extra money, and always hoping an unexpected expense doesn't come your way. I'd hardly call that comfortable.
America is control by big corporation. Not the people.
so what?? Of course they will protect the rich people. People who owns the big cooperation. If they see this thread , what would they say?
"stop whining, and get your ass up and go make online monies" .
PS: capitalism , the rich will become richer . The poor will become poorer. It's a system that's suck big time. ROFL
PPS: doesn't mean to offend anyone.![]()
I wasn't arguing that, I was arguing MSTeachers point that poor people can somehow be intelligent, nothing about the middle class shrinking.....
if you can barley make ends meet with 30k something isn't right...people have some misconception about struggling to get by....I am talking about one individual who makes 30k/year that's not struggling it's not rich, but it's enough to live comfortably. A family of four with 2x the income can also live comfortably if you have any understanding of how budgeting works.
Poor people are fucking stupid and shouldn't be allowed to vote. If you're on any type of welfare your voting rights should be taken away from you. Only tax payers should be allowed to vote. If you're not fucking competent enough to care for yourself without government handouts then your opinion(vote) means jack shit.
So just to sum things up:
- OP is a fucking faggot.
- MSTeacher is also a faggot.
- Poor people are less than human.
- And OP is a faggot.
k thnx

I work with intelligent people all the time who are poor. What generally happens is something like this: The kid is very, very intelligent. But because he comes from a house that doesn't understand the value system and educational system of the US, he doesn't push himself to be in the "right classes." He doesn't apply to the "right colleges." He doesn't even realize that scholarships exist for guys just like him.
Then, when he's fifteen, his father needs him to start working anyway, so who cares about school - it's not doing shit for him, anyhow. He drops out since money now is better than money later, especially when your dad and family is pressuring you to do so.
He learns a trade like carpentry or perhaps becomes a tile layer. Maybe he becomes a mechanic, but not the highly trained kind since that requires more education. Then he works a manual trade for years. Because he doesn't have any sort of degree and because he's been told his whole life that all he'll ever do is lay tile (or whatever), he accepts this to be the truth and continues to do so.
He never making more than $8 or so per hour, when he can find work - right now he can't since there's very little building or home improving going on, and he doesn't understand the way the Good Ol' Boy system works, so he's always the first guy kicked out when times get tough.
Meanwhile he uses his intelligence to start gaming the system as best he can using the resources that he does have. He keeps money under the table, he tells his wife how to arrange food stamps/WIC/free and reduced lunch for their kids. She might have also been intelligent, but family pressures or an early pregnancy encouraged her to stay home with the kids, leaving them to rely on his income since she never developed any job skills and the cost of daycare is more than she'd ever earn anyhow. Even the cost of afterschool care is huge, and she's lost any confidence in herself that she ever had.
They make it work, barely and then he gets hurt and needs his son to help out, and the cycle of poverty repeats. Poverty is truly a cycle, just like some families have cycles of entrepreneurship and the like.
Is every poor person smart? Hell no. I've worked with plenty who aren't, and a surprising number who are. But if you're using your own definition of book-educated, or "common-sense" smart, you're looking at intelligence too narrowly. What makes sense to you is only logical because you've observed it and learned about it your entire life. "Common sense" isn't actually as common as you'd think.
Actually, we pay what 98% of the taxes? How about you send a check to the IRS for 700 grand and see how it feels.
Fucking well fare handout wanting little bitches. We cant do everything for you guys
or maybe he can stop being a bitch and be the next fucking Oprah stop making excuses college is definitely not a must. Just a clean cut image so you don't look like a damn redneck or some ghetto piece of trash and learn how to speak.
Keep your sob stories to yourself my family came from real poverty (none of that government assistance bullshit with wic and food stamps) fuckwad hard work and determination that's all you need
Hint to poor people/socialists: You are your own worst enemy. Your ignorance is destroying your standard of living. Capitalists have tried to allow you to free yourselves but you don't want to be free. You prefer security. And security you will get. Prisons are about as secure as it gets.
