Since genie used ownCloud. Never could get on board with the subscription model when I always had my own servers.
I think another thread here mention something about the mobile aps for ownCloud not faring well. Never had problem myself.

I read an article in Forbes yesterday how this Russian company called "Bitrix" is the Dropbox killer. Haven't tried it yet, but I just might because there's 85% off discount till 12 april

you guys are going to spend the time to jump from one company to another based on who they put on their BOD when it doesnt really effect you in any way?
idk, just like constantly task switching.. app switching is a huge waste of time and for sure. Hope your data is secure with those new companies as they iron out their bugs. Dropbox ( like Google drive ) has a huge volume of users, which in turns means they have ironed out most issues that could come up
