Why hasnt there been a lotion invented that makes it so I don't have to shave?

I have to shave almost every other day to look presentable. Razors aren't cheap and my time is expensive. There should be a lotion that can be applied to your face that blocks hair from growing. Bonus points if it is moisturizing and has SPF and doesn't have any womenly fragrance.

Call me lazy, a little bitch, I don't care. Someone get on this stat and I'll sign up for your rebill in a second.

Laser is the only way to permanently solve your problem. Shaving can be a pain, but think of the grown men out there who would give anything to have your problem. I love shaving and having the freedom to grow whatever style I want -- consider yourself lucky.

A quick look on some online beard boards will show you guys spending 20 grand on surgery, and smearing minox all over their face; just to get enough hair for a goatee.

BTW: Nair and other depilatory creams don't do anything. I tried it with my body hair and the stubble grows right back the next day. The only advantage is creams make the hair less stubbly.

Lol yeah don't be ungrateful I can't grow a decent beard to save my life. Oh well it's just genetics.

You'll never buy another disposable razor/mach3 shit again, and might possibly REALLY enjoy shaving from now on.

I started with the Gillette series, moved on to the double edged razor. Got a straight (!) razor coming in the mail now. Ever since I upgraded shaving has become a hobby rather than a chore. I'll probably post a thread about shaving with a straight razor once I get used to it.

Epilator.

The first time you do it, it could hurt (most people are surprised at how not painful it is) - but you'll be smoother than your lady. Eventually you'll go several weeks without needing a shave.

this is true. it takes TIME to shave with a DE. I do two passes minimum. cheaper in the long run. it's cheaper all around

I stopped using shaving cream 99% of the time about 5 years ago. Just turn the water up in the shower to get a nice steam going and then wash my face to soften the hair a bit. I have a no fog mirror and quickly shave right in the shower.

I've had the same bottle of shaving gel for about 3 years now, someone gave it to me. I use it every now and then because I don't feel like wasting it.
