Why is people so serious about grammer

Read what you write before you post it. Edit it as needed.
People don't trust illiterate people with their money. Seriously, you would have been close to fine if you got your "yours" right.

your=You own it
you're=You are it
there=Location
their=They possess it
they're=They are it
lose=You no longer have it
loose=ChrisS already got to her.

That is the bare minimum for grammar on the internet. Your browser should handle spell check for you.

I have not tried to sell anything, When I was attack I defended. I spent a nice price to have a avatar I did not think that a company logo offended people.

However since apparently it does you will notice it has been removed. I do not go around looking to piss people off. When it comes to electrical and internet stuff i am actually very smart, I never claimed to be a genius when it come to the way I word shit.

I have a hard time believesing this. What do you know about electricals?

People care about spelling and grammar, because as you get older, you learn that there are basically two types of people: Morons and Intelligent people. For an even somewhat intelligent person, communicating with a dumb person gives the same feeling of frustation you get from trying to teach your dog to play the piano. Therefore, if you wish not to be lumped in the group of morons, you would be wise to proofread your posts.

c'mon, nobody cares about grammar if you have something interesting to say. summed up a whole fucking thread in 11 words.

I don't know where you found a picture of my crib, but you have 24 hours to remove that phony fucking photofaggotry from my palace and take this image down or ELSE.

Edit: And why is this butthurt little toolbag still here, avatar or no?

To be honest, if you cannot write English on your own, you shouldn't be running a business which requires communicating with people daily in English.

It might sound mean, but the reason why you are getting flamed so hard is because you are doing a job that is above your skillsets. This isn't meant as an insult, but there are barriers to entry even in running an affiliate network, and you don't have them.

I'd suggest you work in a job that doesn't require a command of English, you learn written English, or you hire a CMO who is responsible for all of your networks communications who can properly write English. But when you are representing a company and show you don't understand written English, you are alienating anyone who might work with you. Why in the world would somebody run traffic with you when there are a billion other networks out there which provide everything yours does, and they have an owner who passed middle school English?

Okay so i can stop replying in the other thread as instructed, seriously why does it really piss people off.

I mean honestly tons of businesses have some one who is in control of that aspect of a company if for anything to sound professional when talking to a potential customer.

I am seriously interested in why people get so upset, its not just here i see typo corrections every where? and no not just on mine lol, i refuse to pay $50 bucks for every post

Pls go...

Back to school.

Why good grammar is so IMPORTANT

It seems that good grammar is a thing of the past. The attitude of many individuals seems to be “Why do I need good grammar? I just want to be able to express myself.” Freedom of expression is important, but not at the expense of solid grammar. Let’s take a look at why good grammar is so important.

Attention to Detail

Ask any employer what characteristics they seek in job applicants and they will most likely tell you “attention to detail.” Using poor grammar shows a lack of attention to detail, and those people simply don’t get hired or promoted. If a resume or cover letter has been written with poor grammar, they will be shuffled quickly to the bottom of the stack.

Symptomatic of Other Problems

A good high school or college English teacher will tell you the truth: “Writing with poor grammar makes you seem stupid!” This might be harsh, but it is the truth. Imagine sending an email message full of grammar mistakes to someone you are hoping to win as a client. They would automatically feel uneasy about doing business with you because of the “perceived” incompetence. Poor grammar leads people to deduce that you may be lacking other skills and abilities.

Many businesses have been the subject of ridicule because of a poorly written sentence or misspelled word on a billboard. Here’s a test – the next time you see a misspelled word on a billboard or sign, take note of your thoughts toward the business. Chances are they are not all that complimentary.

Professionalism and Respect

It’s very difficult to respect someone as a professional if their grammar is poor. Poor grammar reeks of lack of education, lack of intelligence, and sloppiness. Does that sound like a person who is destined for the corner office?

Part of being successful is respecting yourself and commanding respect of others. More and more, correspondence is done using the written word in college and the workforce.

Credibility

A person who uses razor-sharp grammar stands out. Since so many people have poor grammar skills it is easy to leverage it to your advantage and increase your credibility. Let’s say you were emailing a person about being an expert at building houses, but your message was full of grammar mistakes. Would the reader make the assumption that you are ignorant? The chances are they would – even though you may be a highly intelligent subject matter expert on building homes.

Clear Communication

In this day of information overload, people do not want to spend time reading muddled, hard to understand messages rife with grammar and spelling mistakes. Chances are your message will be skipped over and discarded. A message that is crafted with excellent grammar and fluidity is clear, concise, and will get read.

Employability

As a college student, your goal is undoubtedly to get a great job. A resume with grammar errors is the first to get put in the trash. If you want to be employable then you need to make sure your grammar is spot on. That doesn’t mean you have to be perfect all the time – even the best make mistakes.

Why is grammar and spelling important? Because no one has the time or patience to read each of your busted-ass sentences 3x to figure out what you are trying to say. And I'm being generous with the word 'sentences'.

the only time grammar is important on the internet, is when you are calling someone stupid. Doesn't make sense to call someone stupid, all the while fucking up ones own grammar.

Like half the retards in this thread.
